BAS1S Architecture is a community-centered design firm focusing on creating timeless residential and commercial architecture. We believe strongly that design can improve our lives and every-day experiences. Our process starts with that end experience in mind. Since our founding, our firm has been enlivening spaces in partnership with our clients vision along the Front Range and in our Colorado mountain communities. Our philosophy of creating buildings that inspire and endure is based on our responsibility to the environment, the communities we serve, our clients, and the people who work, live and interact with the commercial and residential spaces we design.
Our team combines creativity and functionality to craft spaces that compliment the natural environment and resonate with the occupants. Through close to three decades of practice, we have mastered the art of capturing the unique style of each client while navigating the complex process from conception to completion.

Commercial Architecture
Our practice covers a full spectrum of commercial projects with special attention to event and public spaces, mixed-use buildings and small scale health and wellness facilities.
Multi-Family Architecture
We are strong advocates for a full range of housing types in our communities, believing this to be key to the economic diversity cities and towns need to thrive. Our projects have included small infill to large lot mixed developments, incorporating ‘micro’ and standard-sized apartments, townhomes and reduced lot size single family housing.
Residential Architecture
Custom home design has always been an integral part of our practice. In our 25+ year history working along the Front Range, we’ve developed long standing relationships with high-end builders to help our clients build the homes of their dreams. Our design sensibilities range from craftsman to contemporary but always with respect for the Colorado mountain vibe. We blend the natural landscape with the needs of the occupants to create spaces that are directly connected to the outside while nestled in a comfortable home designed specifically to fit the site and client.
Commercial Interior Design
Primarily for commercial projects, we offer extensive interior design services. Working collaboratively, we’ll ensure the surfaces, textures, colors, lighting and details, down to the doorknobs, all come together in a cohesive fashion that supports the overall design and the clients mission.
