Rogers Road Townhomes

BAS1S has been providing pro bono architectural services to Habitat for Humanity for over two decades, in Estes Park and on the Front Range. This project was an opportunity to provide nine new homeowners with their first home. The site is located just east of downtown, along a 3rd Avenue corridor envisioned to undergo significant change in the coming years. The north edge fronts an arterial, so access needed to come from the south, along Rogers Road. The units, townhome style in groups of three, are served by an alley to gain garage access, looped back to Rogers. Maintaining a street connection to both Rogers Road and 3rd Avenue was still important – sidewalks are linked to entry porches and/or patios to ensure walk-ability.
